Darimbot Farm

Our second-largest farm is the Darimbot Farm, located in the Kavre district. Due to its altitude and soil types, sub-tropical and temperate types of fruits are grown here, i.e. avocado, guava, butternut, chestnut, peach, plum, pear, passion fruit, pomegranate, persimmon, orange, lime, and lemon are in production at Darimbot farm.

Beans, cauliflower, cabbage, broccoli, kohlrabi, eggplant, okra, cucumbers, squash, and gourds are the main products. Besides these, onion, garlic, ginger, turmeric, shallots, and chives are also a major part of the production. Darimbot Farm is one of the major sources of milk and other dairy products for Dwarika’s Kitchen.

Kavre Newland Farm

One of the largest and most distinct farms due to its high altitude and location is the Newland farm in Kavre, Dhulikhel. The name was given as Newland Farm because it is a walking distance from Dwarika’s Resort and guests can indulge in all kinds of farming activities at this farm. The total area covered by the farm is 3.8 ha. Culinary and medicinal herbs, leafy green vegetables, and temperate fruits are primarily grown to supply resort and hotel kitchens. Some of the fruits produced at this farm are Kiwi, Almonds, Mulberries, Peaches, Plums, and Passion Fruits. The farm is also inclined to horticulture, raising local chickens, ducks, quails, and bees. Shitake mushrooms are one of the highlights of the farm.
